The Travel Authority Launches
New ‘Heritage-Themed’ Trips
The Travel Authority Inc., a Bensalem-based tour operator serving Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey, has launched a new division, Heritage Experience Travel, to offer educational heritage-themed tours.
“The tapestry of the many races, religions and national origins that make up our population all bring positive ingredients to the ‘melting pot’ that is the United States,” explained Barry Gerber, president of The Travel Authority. “Our nation’s strength is derived from the wonderful blending of this diversity. Within this context, it is important that we be in touch with ourselves so as to understand, be comfortable with and embrace our unique backgrounds.”
Heritage Experience vacations maintain all the strong features of The Travel Authority’s established programs, while modifying the content of the touring and activities to emphasize areas of interest to the specific clients on the tour. Regional experts are employed to add insight and knowledge. The ethnic groups for which Heritage Experience vacations may be planned is broad, including African-American, Polish-American, Native American, Hispanic-American and many others.
The trips will be educational, entertaining and affordable, according to Gerber. The trips are available to individuals and to groups, and group leaders are encouraged to suggest heritage themes.
For more information on Heritage Experience Travel, contact Barry Gerber at The Travel Authority at 800-220-3900, or e-mail him at Barry@TravelAuthority.us.
